Independent contractor with 25+ years of experience specializing in creative direction, web design, infographics and illustration. As a freelancer, I've had the pleasure of working with various clients, including World Bank, VisitFlorida, Bonnier Corp., Local Directive, MilesMedia, St. Leo University, InfographicWorld.com, McGraw-Hill, Weekly Reader, Houghton Mifflin and Walker Design. Featured designer and Creative Director on the Visual.ly Marketplace working with clients such as Huffington Post, Hired, CVS, TNT, Dun & Bradstreet, Bosch, Verizon, Cisco, Lenovo, Genpact, Oracle, Red Fuse, Hills.

Most recently I have worked as Senior Talent Manager for Graphic Design and Interactive at Visual.ly since January 2016. Visual.ly specializes in creating beautiful and engaging content for companies and publishers around the world. In this role, I work on projects from concept planning, scoping and estimating with the clients, to identifying creative talent best suited to collaborate with the client on their strategic content solutions. My role also supports various aspects of the work in progress, from administrating fees and timelines to as needed communications, creative oversight and direction.

Previously, I was senior online designer and multimedia producer with tampabay.com, the website of the Tampa Bay Times. As a member of the presentation department, I maintained a close working relationship with editorial, photo, video, newsart and print design staff, as well as the IT department. Earlier in my career, I worked as an infographic artist at the Times Journal Publishing Company in Springfield Virginia, and associate art director at McGraw-Hill's Engineering News Record in New York.

I am passionate about content and the full creative cycle – storytelling, demystifying and explaining processes, developing concepts, data and information design, and ultimately about creating engaging user experiences.
