This is a fun little project for tampabay.com social media efforts involving instagram and of course twitter to share the vibrant music season that we have in Tampa Bay. It is simple and it came together very quickly, but it believe it will be a catchy concept that folks will rally to.
For the start of the 2012 season our sports and video staff filmed interviews (a bit off the cuff) with each of the players and many of the coaches. The interface is to showcase the players:
The theme or “environment” I chose for my portfolio was inspired by a visit to the Florida State Fair. Being a web designer and producer by day, and a freelance whatcha might call me / jackie of all trades by night and weekend, I have had the opportunity to run the gamut of creative challenges. Let’s just say I wear many creative hats.
So the theme of the carny world of games and weird extremes – “step right up …” and “let me show you the future” or “take a chance on a game of fortune” – seemed quite fitting to showcase the many different types of projects I have accumulated in my portfolio. After all, isn’t that what we ask of our prospective clients.
