Just finished working on an infographic (below) to accompany a touching story, by Meredith Rutland about a 2-year old afflicted with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy. MLD is a rare genetic disease that causes part of a person’s nerves to erode. Eventually, the patient’s body will shut down. There is no cure for this disease.

The story is very touching and can be seen at tampabay.com/savannah. And do please take a look at the beautiful children’s story that Savannah Hurst inspired, written by Meredith Rutland and illustrated by Don Morris. The link to it is within the story.
